Our Services

Medical and Surgical

Our focus on preventive care, regular examinations and owner education helps keep our cat and dog patients in good health.  Our goal is to prevent disease and detect disease conditions early in their course when they can best be treated.  Vaccinations, testing for intestinal worms, heartworm testing with treatment and prevention are recommended and available on site.  The safety and efficacy of the medications we use are of the utmost importance to us.  We offer spay and neuter surgeries, dentals, soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.  Anesthesia is monitored throughout all procedures by a trained technician with high quality equipment.  We offer balanced anesthesia by choosing anesthetic agents to suit each individual patient.  We practice extensive pain management for our patients, both surgical patients and elderly pets that need assistance.  We are able to diagnose and treat most medical conditions here in our office by using a full in-office laboratory, digital radiology and a comprehensive pharmacy.  Behavioral and nutritional counseling are available as well.  When it is in the best interest of the patient, we offer referral services to specialists.  We offer humane, pain-free, compassionate euthanasia with burial or cremation for patients in need.

Early morning patient drop-off with evening pick-up is available to busy owners who cannot come during appointment hours.

Boarding

The boarding kennels have separate areas for dogs and cats and a large fenced yard for exercise and play.  Boarding dogs are taken out individually several times daily.  We can also let them play in family groups if you like.  It is not unusual to see our assistants, technicians and receptionists holding, petting and playing with our boarders and patients throughout the day.

Grooming

Our groomer, Tracy Saunders, does bathing, clipping and brush outs Monday, Wednesday and Thursday by appointment only.  She is kind and patient with the animals and really produces some beautiful clips.

Payment

We accept payments via cash, local checks, all major credit cards, debit cards and Care Credit.  You may apply for Care Credit at the hospital or online. In order to continue to provide our services, we request that payments be made at the time of service.

We are happy to provide estimates of costs for all procedures.  For hospitalization and/or surgery, estimates will be provided after your pet has been examined.  Please feel free to ask for an estimate if you have not received one.
